Turning Points is a course for students in the 10th and 11th grades and prepares them for the 4-point Bagrut exam. Speaking is emphasized throughout the course. The topics chosen for the book motivate the students to speak up and discuss the issues that arise. The texts encompass the appropriate vocabulary from the Ministry's list of Band III and encourages the acquisition of words and a broad range of expressions which are essential for communication skills. The writing program is carefully scaffolded to build student confidence offering opportunities for successful outcomes.
Turning Points has an accompanying Practice Book to sharpen all the skills taught in the course and provides interesting practice for the reinforcement of reading, grammar, vocabulary and writing.
